The favorite of director Simon Field: HOTEL CENTRAL
One of the most interesting fields of the festival is often the 'short-programme' category. You'll find more real 'cinefielen' (film-maniacs) hunting in this corner for delicious cinema than at the 'feature-films'. This is because features will often be sold and screened afterwards anyway. Festival director Simon Field has a favorite - Hotel Central by the British director Matt Hulse. For the real festival 'die-hards' the Rotterdamser 'variant' not an unknown chapter. This short film of ten minutes is a somewhat 'be-strange-ing' compilation of images, slightly surrealistic. Images like Stockhausen makes music.
Hotel Central finds itself in the twighlight of art and cinema.
